KLM 787
Location: AMS – Panoramic Terrace
I photographed this 787 during pushback. From the Panoramic Terrace at Schiphol, you get a great view of the Gates! When an aircraft gets pushed back from one of these gates, a face to face picture like this becomes possible!
The 787 is a beautiful plane to photograph! Especially on take off or landing where the wing flex is very visible. But face to face it also looks great!
The Panoramic Terrace (panoramaterras) at Schiphol Airport is publicly accesable so a great spot for Avgeeks!
Cargolux 747
Location: Parking next to Polderbaan (spottersplaats Polderbaan).
This Cargolux Boeing 747 departed Amsterdam towards Luxemburg and appeared not to be fully loaded. It resulted in a quick takeoff allowing for this nice full frame, and in the air, shot!
Atlas Air 747
Location: AMS – McDonalds Buitenveldertbaan
I loved this shot from the moment I took it! The rain being kicked up on landing creates a very dynamic look!
It was totally worth standing in a bit of rain!
China Southern 777f
Location: Kaagbaan
This spot next to Kaagbaan provided a place where you can get close to the planes on final! The cloudy background does make the plane stand out quite a bit which I like!
