Who Am I?
Hi I am Bas, and I live in the Netherlands. I was born on the 4th of january 2000 which makes me 26 at the time of writing this! I am a beginning amateur aviation enthousiast! In what follows I’ll tell you a little bit about myself!
Favourite plane
It has to be the boeing 747, aka the Queen of the Skies! The Iconic silhouette, the sheer size! It fascinated me when I was a kid and it still does to this day!
My favourite ever flight(s)
So far, my two flights with KLM in 2025 were the best. They were short flights from Amsterdam to Billund and back but on both flights, me and my friend flew Business Class! Flight attendants also noticed my phone case which led them to invite us to the cockpit on both flights! Of course the visit to the cockpit was at the gate after touchdown!

Some planes and airlines I’ve flown (as long as I can remember).
With KLM, I’ve flown on the A321neo twice! With TUI, I’ve flown a 767-300ER and a 737 Max 8. With Condor i’ve flown the A330-200 and the 757-300.
As for airlines I remember I’ve flown, these are Martinair, Transavia, ArkeFly, AirBerlin and Germania. What types I’ve flown with these airlines I can’t specifically remember.
